What is the duration of a septic tank installation?
The average time for a septic installation at a home on Vancouver Island is 1-3 days. The timeline will vary by site, excavation needs, tank types and the need for permits prior to the start of work.
What's the difference between a concrete tank and a polyethylene tank?
Concrete tanks are heavier, better for high water table conditions, and polyethylene plastic tanks are light, easy to install, and won’t corrode. The selection will depend on the type of soil, access to the site, and the BC regulations.
What is the recommended maintenance schedule for performing septic pumping and inspections?
